Privacy Policy; Cancellation; Terms & Conditions

The Upper Peninsula Luge Club's mission includes promoting luge as a recreational and competitive sport, expanding the public's knowledge of luge, and promoting physical fitness through public participation in luge events and competitions.

Since the sport has risks, all participants (parents/guardians in the case of minors) are absolutely required to sign the United States Luge Association (USLA) liability waiver before participation in the club's luge activities.  Your safety is our concern but your responsibility.  If you do not sign the waiver, you may not participate.  We still welcome you to watch and cheer for others!

We also have linked here a detailed Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, that are a necessary part of our interactions with you, and the collection of payments for activities and merchandise in the modern era.  Also note:
  • We are a volunteer-driven non-profit club and ask that you help us make it easy for the community to try the sport of luge.  If you need to reschedule or cancel your reservation, and have difficulty doing so through links in the confirmation message, please contact us as soon as possible by emailing [email protected]
  • Refunds (or change of date) for tickets are generally available if you request to cancel any day prior to the reservation.  Please note that there is NO refund for cancelling the day of the reservation.  Because fees are not reversed by our hosting providers, we may deduct 5% from refunds. Additionally, requests for larger groups (6 or more people) to cancel or reschedule must be made at least three days before the reservation to ensure a refund.
  • If we close due to inclement weather we will contact you by EMAIL and your money will be fully refunded.

The club is providing a facility, equipment, and the efforts of our volunteers, aiming to create positive experiences for you and the sport of luge.  We expect you to be responsible, and to take seriously both your safety and the safety of other participants around you.  Within those boundaries, let's have fun!

We are a non-profit club, and are glad for your support of the sport of luge! Thank you, and enjoy the winter season.
