2025-2026 Winter Events Calendar

On race dates, we have fun timing both new club members and registered public sliders, racing in the public section of the track soon after the close of public sliding.  We separately race advanced club sliders from the top (half-mile) and jr. start (quarter-mile) locations.  The public is encouraged to attend and cheer everyone!
(Many thanks to race sponsors, listed here and on our homepage!)

Did you know?

The International Luge Federation maintains the rules for Naturbahn Luge. Races include women's singles, men's singles, doubles, and team disciplines. Racing also includes novice (age 7-10), youth (age 11-14) and junior (age 15-20) groups.

Local races are administered by a volunteer team of trained people whose roles include Race Director, Jury, Start Leader, Finish Leader, and Chief of Track, with others assisting with track maintenance, race timing, equipment inspections, and recording and publishing results.  Still more volunteers organize food / potlucks among spectator families, the warming shelter and bonfires.  Thanks to everyone who contributes time, funds, or materials to create this only-place-in-the-U.S. experience.
