Our season is late December through early March.
Late December dates are typically added in mid-December when we are confident the ice will be ready.
Early March dates, as weather permits, are added about a week in advance.

Try Luge! Reservations
- Reservations help us have equipment and volunteers ready for the number of folks visiting us. Cancellation and other policies are linked here.
- All sliders must have a signed liability waiver form (signed by parent/guardian for those under 18). The online waiver link is on the confirmation page and in the confirmation email, and there is an 'Invite' link you can forward to other members of your group.
- In this 2 hour session, you start at the bottom of the run and work up the public section of the hill as you learn to control the sled. We teach sliders young (5+) and old! You need to be physically able to lay down & get up from ground level.
- $30 per session for sliders age 16 and up. $20 for sliders age 15 and below.

- Click Add to Cart, and complete payment to confirm the tickets.
- On the confirmation page, enter each slider's name in the Participant Information / Add Details.
- You also click Add Details to be prompted to sign your liability waiver (and as parent/guardian of sliders under 18).
- There is a button to copy an Invite you can send to other adults to complete their waivers.
- There is no WiFi at the hill - please ensure your group all sign waivers ahead of time!
Luge UP! Advanced Introductory Luge Reservations
- In this 3 hour class (limited dates and small class size) you have the opportunity to slide on 3-4 short segments of the hill, particularly on the very top section, including pulling out of the handles at the top start building. So that you can focus on sliding, we have a volunteer taking photos (group and individual) to be put on a shared drive for folks to download later.
- You must have already slid in a Try Luge public session (same day is fine), braking and steering successfully around the cones, and want to try something more. Preferably you tried the left turn into the finish lane, but this is not required.
- You must be in shape to carry the sled. We won't be going bottom to top in one big walk, rather over several stages - nonetheless you will overall be carrying the sled up the 280' elevation, and back down again.
- You must be mature enough to reliably follow safety instructions. Class is limited to adults (18+) and permission of the instructor.
- Each slider must have a signed liability waiver form, as with all our programs.
- $125 per slider, plus processing fees. Class size is 4-6 sliders.
- By reservation: Contact club by email for available February dates.

Sponsor a Youth Club Membership (2025-2026)
The UPLC wants no barriers to participation when a child's family can not afford a membership. In addition, there are always a few kids who need to be outfitted with proper winter coats and snow pants. We take care of each other more like a family than a club.
Sponsor a Family Club Membership (2025-2026)

Iron Sponsor (2025-2026)
As a business sponsor, we have a 18x24 sign made with your business logo posted at the track. We also celebrate your sponsorship on our Facebook page!
Your sponsorship helps our non-profit club (~40 years!) keep public sliding, after-school programs, and the opportunity for youth to be on the US Natural Track Luge team open and available. We maintain (water, lights, track boards, tractor, sleds, helmets, boots, ...) the only full length iced natural track luge in the United States.
Copper Sponsor (2025-2026)
Your sponsorship helps our non-profit club (~40 years!) keep sliding open and available. In addition to the 18x24" business sign with logo at the track, and mentions on our Facebook page, your name/business will also be specifically recognized at races.
We want every child to compete and take a memory home - whether a participation award or a medal for being on the podium! - regardless of their ability to pay. Your sponsorship enables us to have zero club race fees for participants, purchases medals, and helps provide for the club potluck that follows the race.
Every child competes from at or below where they have trained on the track. This means a few more starting gates and a little extra work for the race officials, but it keeps the youth safe and having fun.
Gold Sponsor (2025-2026)
Thank you! Your sponsorship helps our non-profit club (~40 years!) keep sliding open and available.
Your name/business will be specifically recognized and thanked in the promotion of races (poster, advertisements) as well as on race day, plus the 18x24" business sign with logo at the track, and the celebration of your sponsorship on our Facebook channel.

The UPLC wants no barriers to participation. We have NEVER turned a child or a family away because they couldn't afford a membership. At one point in our after school program 15 of the 25 kids were participating under sponsored memberships. In addition, every year there are always a few kids who need to be outfitted with proper winter coats and snow pants. We take care of each other more like a family than a club.
