Alpine Luge International Competition:
Exciting even in slow motion!

Did you know?

The rulebook of luge (the IRO) is 33 years older than the international organization (the FIL) that uses it!  The first version of the IRO was adopted in Prague in 1924 at a meeting of an earlier federation.  Luge's FIL, as well as the Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation who often share tracks with artificial luge, formed later - the FIL was founded in Davos in 1957.
